ENDING SEQUENCE

I art-directed and designed this sequence as the ending of a class video I took. I had my classmates participate in a special sign-off on the last day of class. We held up cards thanking our professors. I then took that video and stitched these graphics from all of our final projects into a motion piece.

MARINA PIANO MUSEUM

After conceptualizing a new museum, from the name to the location, and type of exhibit. I used this museum for a motion graphics project. I created this title sequence as an ad for the museum. Using elements of pianos for the sound and visuals.

MMUSEUMM BRANDING SEQUENCE

I rebranded and art-directed this advertisement for the museum. Taking the new brand look and using assets from the letterforms I created for the typeface.

CONTRAST OF FORMS

This project celebrates the style of painting by Fernand Leger called contrast of Forms. I designed a full typeface dedicated to his style. I animated the letters throughout the sections. I art-directed and composted this piece.

THE BIRDS

This is a title sequence of the classic film The Birds. I art-directed this project to redesign it with a look that can sit among movie titles on the Netflix platform.  Refreshing the feel of the original film by Alfred Hitchcock.

NEW YORK AQUARIUM

I created this project on the side. I tested out different angles and positions to capture a shark's shadow. I filmed and waited until I had a shadow pass through this empty section of sand. I got lucky by capturing the significant swim pattern of sharks as this one turned rapidly at center screen.  I used that turn as my inspiration for the animated type sequence. As it passed over the type and finally a little kick with its fin to create this wave motion ending.

THE SCHOOL of VISUAL ARTS

I art-directed this title animation is inspired by the hustle of deadlines and the many facets that bring it all together.

A VISUAL REPRESENTATION OF SUM by David Eagleman

I art-directed this visual representation of the poem Sum by David Eagleman which details a cumulative time frame of daily tasks in our life.
